Japan starts vaccinations as new coronavirus cases, deaths drop worldwide

Tokyo (AFP) – Japan launched its coronavirus vaccination programme on Wednesday, five months ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, as the World Health Organization reported a fall in new cases around the world.
